Flowers and candlelight

I know I've been blogging in bahasa but for this one, it needs to be in English.
I was busy in the office one day, taking calls etc; so when the door bell rang, so I absentmindedly buzz the person in. Out of the corner of my eye, he looked like the usual courier guy, but why is he carrying.....a bouquet of flowers?

Gasp! For me? Oh...I kinda know who might send it....but...why now? Glanced at the card and...yeap...from him, although he didn't put his name on it, but the message is clear.
Its for our monthniversary! Aren't they lovely...

I texted him to say thanks for the lovely flowers! (he remembered when I said on passing abt my favourite) and I am guessing by the number of stalks that he put in, he wishes us a long and lasting relationship (right, dear?)
He texted back that the bouquet wasn't supposed to be sent that day and that the flower shop must hv made an error! Yeap, its a few days shy of the date. Hahaha...Anyway, told him that its the thought that counts more...

Funny how different guys and girls' (in the office) comment on the arrival of the bouquet... The guys asked "is today your birthday?" the girls asked "so, who is he?"hahahaha

On the day of our monthniversary, he took me to dinner at 'S*lt grill and sky bar' by Luke M*ngan at Ion orchard....Yummmmyyyy...food was superb! and the view was fantastic! (The restaurant sits at 56th floor of Ion Orchard)

Didn't snap a lot of pics, as it was quite dark. But manage to snap this incredible raspberry souffle and lime sorbet. That souffle was so light, it melts in your mouth!
Definitely one of the highlight dishes of the night. For appetizer, we had tempura zucchini flowers stuffed with feta, black olives and roasted peppers; crab omellete with miso mustard broth and salt & pepper squid. For mains, we shared the blue-fin tuna.Yummmm.....

Happy monthniversary, dear! and may we have many many more.....
